Oklahoma State track & field and cross country coach Dave Smith has been named a coach of Team USA for the 8th IAAF World Junior Championships, USA Track & Field announced.

Oklahoma State's Nick Miller and Caitlin Way were each honored for their work in the classroom Thursday as they received first-team honors on the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Track & Field/Cross Country Team.

BIRMINGHAM, England - Former Oklahoma State cross country and track standout Tom Farrell won the 5,000 meters title at the Sainsbury's British Championships Saturday, finishing the senior-level national event with a time of 13:51.43.

BIRMINGHAM, England - Oklahoma State's Nick Miller took first place in the hammer throw Saturday at the Sainsbury's British Championships, winning the senior-level national event with a throw of 73.96 meters.

Former Oklahoma State cross country and track and field standout Ryan Vail finished in the third place in the 10,000 meters Thursday at the 2014 USA Track and Field Championships, clocking a time of 28:26.02.

Oklahoma State cross country/track & field finished in second place in the running for the 2013-14 USTFCCCA John McDonnell Division 1 Men's Program of the Year Award.
