Birmingham, Ala.-  William Carey University men's and women's track & field got their inaugural season underway on Saturday as they competed in the 2013 Southern Invitational hosted by Birmingham Southern College.

OKLAHOMA CITY Oklahoma City University set a new standard with 197 student-athletes making the Fall 2013 Athletic Director's List recognizing those Stars who posted at least a 3.0 grade-point average in the semester. The fall semester's number eclipsed the 194 who made the Fall 2012 Athletic Director's List. The Stars' combined GPA added up to 3.15 for the Fall 2013 semester. OCU student-athletes have maintained a 3.0 combined GPA for the past 10 years.
