OKLAHOMA CITY Max McNeill of Oklahoma City University took home Sooner Athletic Conference men's cross country runner of the week honors for Oct. 17-23. McNeill, a freshman from Uphall Station, Scotland, finished runner-up at the NAIA Mid-States Classic on Saturday with an 8,000-meter race time of 25 minutes, 23.8 seconds. His individual win helped OCU, ranked sixth in the NAIA, grab its first team victory of the season.
